On Tuesday Patrick Schenttler (’10) was elected by a majority vote of the Interfraternity Council presidents. Schnettler will be taking over for Andrew Duble, the current president, on January 24th. As IFC president Pat will be responsible for leading the council and establishing a clear vision for IFC as it looks to become more involved with the Northwestern community and establish closer ties with the administration. Following his election Pat said, “I am very excited and grateful for this opportunity to lead the greater Northwestern fraternity community. I look forward to working with the chapter presidents, fraternity and sorority life staff, and other NU administrators over the next year.”
Pat will be resigning from his role as Gamma Rho President in January and a special election will occur to elect the interim President until elections are held in late February.
